Dark Tower Kidnaps Ceno At Guard Tower

Today, the Town Guards were going about their patrols in the City of Britain. Ceno suddenly came running into the guard's tower with attackers in hot pursuit. A few moments later, Ceno was seized right in front of the Town Guards!

Cymidei admonished Guards Yalp and Urlik Fangborne not to interfere when they told her to desist! Sleath Cabal of Darkness and Viinslier a Knight of the Dark Tower crowded around Ceno with drawn blades.

Sleath and Urlik eyed one another as tensions mounted between the Dark Tower and the Town Guards. Clearly the guards wished to stop the kidnapping!

Ceno told the Town Guards that he wanted to find out what the Dark Tower wanted, temporarily relieving the tensions between the two groups.

Just then Cabal Sleath said "Do not interfere young one" to Urlik Fangborne and Cymidei Fier became infuriated by the guards pressing around them with drawn halberds.

"I want your Staff of Atrius!" Cymidei blurted out bluntly. "I shall have it peacefully or by force but I shall have it."

Ceno replied calmly "Now that milady I cannot do!"

When Ceno resisted Mistress Cymidei's demand Sleath and Viinslier crowded close to Ceno, forcing the tips of their blades at his throat and back.

Just as Cymidei prepared a gate travel spell to abduct Ceno, Urlik and Yalp stepped forward, trying to stop the kidnapping. Urlik said "Do not make threats Lady Fier." Yalp tried to hide Ceno with a spell of invisibility.

Cymidei heeded neither guard and with the help of Sleath and Viinslier, she forced Ceno through a portal which lead to the Dark Tower.

Urlik Fangborn jumped into the portal and demanded that Cymidei release Ceno.

In response Cymidei sneered at Urlik and whispered to Sleath and Viinslier to slay the guardsman "I will give you a few seconds to flee if you do not wish to DIE!" Cymidei screamed at Urlik.

Urlik stared at Cymidei, Sleath and Viinslier because he was alone, the guard retreated quickly into the shelter of the Samlethe forest.

Once inside the Dark Tower, Ceno was questioned about the Staff of Atrius and because he refused to give it to Cymidei, the Mistress summoned a blind carpenter to torture him. Following the torture, Ceno was gagged and bound within an iron maiden to consider the tortures that will await him if he continues to refuse to turn over the Staff of Atrius.
